The "Xikar Xi1" cutter, it's problem free. Great cut every time, does not damage the cigar in any way, looks good, very easy to handle. It's the last cutter you'll ever need. Tip: read the instructions on lubrication and you will enjoy this product.....for years to come. Later.
I have wasted a pot load of money on bad cutters, and wrecked more than a few really good cigars with them. I have double bladed steel guillotines, single steel guillotines, ceramic blade, a 3-bladed cutter, & at least a handful of punches. I'm not crazy about any of them. So, don't do what I did. Just buy a Xikar. Might cost you more, but only one time.
What can I say my gold XI cutter, it's amazing. I lost count on the cigars cut with this thing and still going, the design is flashy, and the opening switch blade action is still something that grabs the attention of anyone walking by. The women think its pretty spiffy too when you wipe it out for a quick cut to a smooth top self cigar purchased from Cigars International.
