Best cigar tool I have ever had. I bought this new one as my original broke and I need one while my original was being repaired a no cost due to Xikar's lifetime warranty. Great company and great product

It’s a great tool. Sharp and folds up nicely. I ended up gifting it since I normally smoke at home. I gifted it to a family member that travels a lot for work. It’s small enough and fits in their travel humi. Win win

Simply the very best cutter! One over zealous TSA agent saw my old one on X-ray, folded up, in my travel humidor, within my suitcase during a return home trip from the Dominican Republic. (They had a sign stating ‘no scissors’ in baggage) he was so proud to show coworkers what a great detective he was and how he saved a likely skyjacking. Anyway, I just bought two more while on sale. Don’t waste buying any scissors other than Xykar !!!

Quality seem to be in this cutter. It is a little bit small folded even for a pocket/keychain cutter and unfolded it is also small. I can see this being good for the pocket and maybe unhandy when used because of the size. I has worked well thus far on cigars up to 56. It has several gadgets attached and no explanation on what they are! In general I and happy with it! Yes I would buy it again!

This is the perfect tool to add to my cigar arsenal. With a small in size frame when collapsed but full size feel when open it is the perfect gadget for and cigar smokers collection.

Awesome cutter and fast shipping

Well made, I like the added tools that for example will bleed the lighter before refilling. However while it's a good cut, it's not a perfect cut.

I love it! Great for clipping my stoggie to finish later!!

Does what it says,folds away nicely

Nice finish, The tool features are more than adequate for its purpose. A larger size would better fit my fingers.

I have mostly used a double-guillotine cutter but since I got the Xikar MTX, this is now my go-to cutter. It gives a good clean cut every time and the bead-blasted gun metal finish looks great too!

Only the scissor is useful. I suppose the bottle opener could be useful in a backwoods, absolute emergency situation.

I have three cutters from Xikar; XO, VX2 V Cut, MTX. I love the XO and the MTX, the new V Cut I am very disappointed in. I got the MTX in the bead blast, great subdued silver finish. Blades are razor sharp and make great cuts. Folds up unto small size don’t even realize it’s in your pocket. I highly recommend this cutter.

I had been looking at ‘‘tis for a while & finally decided to pull the trigger. I like the compact size & the cutter is razor sharp. All the Xikar products have EXCELLENT service. If anything is wrong just send it back & they send a new one, no questions asked. The other tools are useful also, especially the long lighter bleeder. It has come in handy when I refill my butane lighters.

I like cigar related gadgets almost as much as I like cigars. The MTX easily delivers a clean, precise cut, leaving the cap intact. I find it easier to use than my grip cutter. Most of my cigars are in the 50 - 54 ring size. I haven't tried it on anything larger The four tools embedded in the handles are ok - nothing special. But it's the cutter that makes the MTX an outstanding gadget. Finally - I didn't notice the MTX was backordered until after I ordered it. Even so it arrived at my home in just over a week. Another example of exellent CI service.

Quality, Function, Design - All in excess of expectation. This is an exceedingly useful tool and has become the cornerstone of my cigar accessory collection. The scissors are surgical grade and the lighter tools make servicing/maintenance your lighter a breeze. A true MUST HAVE for any cigar enthusiast or hobbyist.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He's been wanting one so I surprised him with it. He loves it even though he's still learning how to make clean, even cuts.

This is actually my second cutter as my first was stolen. The cutter works fantastic and even after several years of heavy use on my key chain, the hinges work perfectly and the secondary tools stay closed.
