With a gentle pull, the sharp blade is exposed. Push it back and the blade disappears, clearing away any loose tobacco taken from the perfect cut. First cigar punch cutter. I'm glad that I've decided on the 9mm instead of the 11mm. The 9mm size is perfect for 50-60 ring gauge cigars, cut them perfect!

I’ve never been a punch cutter guy but I like this one because the cut is bigger than the normal size. Punch cuts have always been too small. I also use the Xikar 11 mm punch, which I prefer, but I use this one on smaller ring size sticks. I smoke Padrones, which are flat single cap, and a punch works very well, either 9mm or 11mm depending on the size of the cigar. This one has always worked well for me. Good quality.

I have never used a punch and I like the results when this works. First time worked like a champ, the second time the blade would not retract. I had to manually push the sharp blade back in.

Cuts like butter, but the when you close it back up, it only retracts the blade back in about 75% of the time. So it may take a few attempts to close it properly

I love this punch, just be aware of how big of a hole it makes. I was surprised once I saw it in person. Still love it and use it. Love the way the mechanism snaps into place when you close it assures it stays clean.

I always used cheap cutters and punches until my children bought me a Xikar V cutter,they cut so much better that I bought one of each type. Wish I did it sooner,they don't tear the tobacco like the cheap ones.
