Shipped and arrived quickly. Was very surprised at the delicate aroma. Mix is beautifully cube cut and the flavor is phenomenal. A must try for anyone who like aromatic pipe tobacco.

been using this off and on since the early seventies. smooth as, dare i say it, velvet. quick shipping, great service.

I first tasted Velvet many years ago, when I was in the Navy. It is still the same; very smooth and rich alone or in a blend. I like to add a little black Cavendish, at times. The room note really makes the ladies eyes light up.

Pretty solid burley mix leaving a bit to be desired in the way of flavor however does burn very well. Can safely say the taste itself is quite bitter but not too overpowering with the semi-sweet undertones you get throughout. A good smoke for those who aren't looking for anything too sweet but also not looking for anything tongue bitingly bitter. Overall would reccomend to those who may enjoy a smooth light almost chocolatey taste.

It's just as naturally fragrant and tasty now as it was then. Good by itself or as the base for a blend: mix with 1 oz. Blending Perique and .5 oz Green River Black Cavendish. I recommend a large bowled pipe and a larger glass of great bourbon on the side. They compliment each other, superbly. A really fine way to end the day.
