Steve Saka is one of the most iconic names in cigars. Not familiar with the name? You most assuredly know his work. Originally known for his helm at the top of Drew Estate, Saka oversaw DE when they were hitting their boom with ACID cigars, and was a pivotal force in developing Liga Privada. Since then, he’s gone on to create his own boutique operation, Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust, releasing fan-favorite after fan-favorite like Sobremesa and Muestra de Saka.

Today, we welcome Sin Compromiso, a cigar that Saka has called the best one he’s ever blended. And the blogs agree. Check out some Top Cigar of 2018 lists, and you’re almost guaranteed to find this one at the top. Utilizing a growing method inspired by Japanese fruit farmers, the fields Saka uses produce dramatically less yield than a normal tobacco field, but each leaf is absolute perfection. Joined by Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan long-filler, Sin Compromiso explodes with rich flavors of chocolate brownies, coffee, and a unique sweetness.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite cigars when I want a medium bodied cigar. Very smooth with a great burn and ash. Love the cedar wrapper which I use to light the cigar and then let it burn for a little aroma therapy before enjoy the cigar.

Saka brags about his tobacco but I gotta tell ya, he should. This stick is damn near perfect. Chocolate and cinnamon finish with impeccable burn and construction. Definitely full strength. Worth the hefty price.

What a great cigar! Very complex and delicious til the end. Very aromatic, earthy, leathery, with a thick creamy smoke. Doesn’t overpower on the retro and keeps ya seated for over an hour and 45 mins. Perfect weekend cigar! When you sit down with this beauty, prepare for one of the better smokes you’ll ever experience. Sakasquatch has done it again.

This was alittle too mild for my liking but it was smooth, the draw was perfect and the burn spot on. This is a beginner's cigar, not a bad one just a mild beginner's cigar.

What else needs to be said, my favorite cigar hands down. This cigar is an absolute masterpiece by Steve Saka. The flavors are thick, creamy and smooth from beginning to end. I've smoked the No.2 as well but the flavors are more prominent to me in the No.5. Boxes of these stay in my humidor.

Hands down one of the best cigars I have ever smoked in twenty years of smoking cigars. Notes of sweet cream, earth, pepper, chocolate, balsam wood, chicory, coffee, molasses and several others play together to make one of the most memorable cigars available today. I rated this thing a 96 on my blog and find myself daydreaming about it several times a week.
