The dark side of Schizo.

Since its initial release the Schizo line, from the brains behind Asylum cigars, has raised a ruckus for being absurdly affordable and downright delicious. This top-selling brand was missing something though, the yin to its yang, and with the new Schizo Maduro the picture is now complete.

Schizo Maduro is made at the El Aladino factory in Honduras and features a San Andres wrapper over Honduran fillers. This blend is Cuban sandwich, meaning it’s a combination of long and short filler, but you won’t notice as this cigar has top-notch construction and releases clouds of pleasing aromas. The stick is medium-bodied and has flavors of chocolate, spice, earth, pepper, and wood making this a perfect budget-friendly blend to add to your everyday rotation.

One of the best 70 ring cigars I have ever smoked. Good draw, good flavor, and relatively good even burn. Wish I could find them in Connecticut wraps. But nonetheless I will continue to burn the maduros with pleasure.

The Maduro Robusto is a smooth cigar, easy draw and even burn. However, I've found less expensive cigars that offer equal quality.

Best smokes for the price. Can't beat the price. Burns great and evenly. Draw is great. Would put these on the low side of the full body but can't complain. Only down side is that the wrappers sometimes falls apart when removing labels. But would recommend these to anyone.

Who could resist that Band? Surprising Stick Pleasure. Solid...even burn...white lasting ash.. Tasty Maduro wrap with mellow Puffing stem to stern. Perfect for a 30 minute smoke.

This was the second purchase of Schizo 70x7 very consistent burn. You will want to plan this smoke. Great flavor for the early evening porch cigar. I will certainly buy this smoke again.

I used to buy these when they first released for around $1.40 a piece. I thought they were a great find. Good draw, even burn and decent flavor for a short filler. Now at over $2 each they are still a good price for an every day smoke. You wont be disappointed. They are definitely toward the top of the list in their price range.
