Saint Luis Rey Serie G Maduro

The cigar was an impulse buy. I had never tried these and they did not disappoint. However I wont be buying cigars from CI anymore because of those "free gifts" (crappy magazines that nobody wants) that you have to check a little box to say no to. I thought I checked the box but I still got the magazines that I had to waste my time cancelling.

It is a good tasting full body maduro wrapper cigar It is the only cigar I smoke I do the 6 x 60 and the 5 x 60 I been smoking this cigar for 20 years I started with Beringer then Punch and Mario and Juleta and when I discovered Saint Luis Rey that was the best cigar I ever smoked and still smoke

Phenomenal smoke. Slow burning to enjoy with Manhattens. Taste the coca and spices unleashed with every puff. Passed out 5 from the box I bought and everyone rated it highly. All time favorite!!

This is my favorite cigar. Although I often take advantage of the great deals Cigars International offers, I keep enough SLRs in my humidor that I can rotate them so that they can age at least an additional 12-18 months. These cigars smoke smooth with a consistently good draw. I love them.

Outstanding smoke - too expensive for an everyday that I might have to toss before finishing it, but the first cigar I ever smoked that had the whole Cigar Afficianado "spices, cocoa, leather, yadda yadda" taste to it. Worth the bucks!

Got a box of these guys about three years ago. The initial reaction I had was that they were too harsh and need to sit for a while. Smoked one the other night and my reaction was much different. Smooth draw, great flavor and not too over powering. Would recommend them to a regular smoker. But just give them time to mature.

People are noticing what a great cigar this is. This has been my go to cigar for the past 5 years, well made, consistent burn, and a taste like no other cigar. Apparently somebody else noticed it's great too, and they jacked the price up 65 bucks a box! That's a lot. CI has boxes of Churchill's for 50 bucks less than the Rothchilde's, but it takes me an hour to smoke the shorty. Cutting 2 inches off these would be a sin, but my wife will miss me if I'm outside much longer. Bring back lower prices CI, and save my marriage!
