Last year, Rocky Patel released a brand new creation that redefined his legendary The Edge cigar line. Expertly combining the complex flavors of The Edge with the smooth, oaky taste achieved by aging in American bourbon barrels, Rocky Patel The Edge Barrel Aged was an instant hit. Now Rocky’s back from the drawing the board with the sequel, and this week we’re raising our glasses and welcoming the all-new Rocky Patel The Edge Barrel Aged Black.

Rocky Patel The Edge Barrel-Aged Black boasts a long-filler blend from the Dominican Republic and Pennsylvania, coated in a Nicaraguan binder and a dark, oily Habano wrapper. The flavors are smooth, spicy, and a little bit sweet, with notes of earth, cocoa, and espresso, with the barrel aging contributing caramel and oak flavors to round out the profile. Rolled into a perfected 6”x52 toro size and ready to please, we’re giving Rocky’s newest creation the welcome it deserves. Grab a box, raise a glass, and enjoy!

I bought these going off other reviews. Sometimes that doesn't work out so well. But this time it did! Great flavor, excellent burn, plan on almost 2 hours to smoke one of these bad boys. Will definitely be buying again!

I am a maduro guy. Bought a box blind. I am a happy man. Taste full and not overly spicy. Smooth and easy draw. Construction is very good. The retro inhale is my favorite part on this one.

Draw opens to four scale five high, smoke out put ramped up once stick warmed, pepper up front medium, nice oak, leather combo the flavors paired well with the Scotch worth it after 10 days in box.

These cigars are really good. I am not a professional cigar person, but these smoke were flavorful, burned evenly at an adequate pace and blew away the normal Rocky Patel Edge's I purchased in the same order. Don't waste your time, do yourself a favor and order these Barrel-Aged Black Toros.

The construction of this cigar is good, firm with no soft spots, with a sweet tobacco aroma, the draw was subsequently good due to proper construction. The smoke was leathery, with hits of pepper, earth and caramelized sugar. An enjoyable smoke.

The flavor is great, it burns very well and it has a smokey flavor. This is one of my favorite cigars, the white label version of this cigar is also amazing, if you like this cigar I also recommend the white version as well.

Great smoke...enjoyable during the week for a quick mid week burn and also for a good cigar saturday night. Full flavored and mild at the same time. Highly recommended allowing this smoke to rest in a well conditioned humidor as it brings out the best flavor.

Smooth draw very even burn held a nice ash moderate amount of smoke the flavor had hints of spice leather an coffee so far the ones i smoked i didnt want them to end i really like rocky patel blend
