Rocky Patel Edge Square Maduro

Description

Pressed with power.

Edge Square Maduro is a delicious new(ish) way to enjoy Rocky Patel's 91-powerhouse masterpiece series, The Edge. Edge Square Maduro used to sit on the shelves of every retailer naturally, but then, for whatever reason it disappeared… today, we’re happy to welcome Edge Square Maduro back. Available in a variety of sizes and sharply box-pressed to deliver a bold new array of flavors to your entire palate, Edge Square Maduro takes some of the world's strongest and most flavorful tobaccos and turns them into something tasty for all to enjoy. Sit back and savor a balanced mixture of long-leaf ligero grown in Nicaragua and Honduras, wrapped in a rich maduro leaf that's dark and oily. A full-bodied bouquet of bold, hearty flavors, including notes of earth, coffee, and wood are presented in a smooth, balanced fashion, then finished by a naturally sweet spice that lingers long on the aftertaste.

Good smoke for a quick cigar being a not so fat robusto. Fails to have flavor and the cool burn of the gordo I enjoyed more

Med draw, better than bourbon or broadleaf, full flavor without any harsh notes. Really enjoy this at the end of the day with a good dark whiskey. Bought these for my husband (they're in his top 5 favorites) because I love them, too!

I recently purchased the Rocky PatelEdge Square Toro Maduros to try something different from my usual cigar, I was pleasantly surprised at how rich the smoke was from start to finish, and I have added them to my list of favorites A nice change.

This slow burning full flavored cigar is extrenely good…burns slow and smooth for a fast relief of stress and worries or anxiety…they’re priced low for the highly rated cigar and are perfect for groomsmen or brothers or best friends to puff and enjoy a glass of brandy or Tennessee whiskey or even first thing in the morning paired with a cup of coffee…I highly recommend these cigars and trust me…it’s worth the splurge…you only live once so why not smoke the very best. I was impressed with the taste a this cigar. A medium strength cigar with a lot of flavor. Great madero wrapper. The only complaint was that there were a couple of them that were poorly rolled and a few where the cigar lacked firmness or fullness. Overall I would choose this cigar again if the price was right, which is under $4.00 per cigar.

This is my favorite of the two flavors. I've gone through 6 so far, and everyone of them were quality. It's true there are more expensive cigars out there with more flavor, but for the price this is quality Cigar. Everyone should give this one a try.

I opened the box and first noticed the wrapper was very smooth, and dark like a stripper named Laquisha. Holding this in between my fingers I could feel the quality put into this stick. Firm, like an over cooked steak with a wrapper as oily as a teenager's face. I pierced the cap with a punch and took a pre lit draw. It was a little tight, but expected with using a punch. Upon putting a flame to the box pressed foot, it ignited like a church in Waco, resulting in thick bellows of smoke. After the first third it had the perfect draw and a nice flavor to it. It was not weak, but not so overpowering that it wasn't enjoyable all the way to the nub. I purchased a box of 20 and will have no problem smoking all of them.
