Many of you may remember the REO cigar released under EO Brands in years past. The cigar, for those who aren’t familiar, was a great medium-full bodied blend, one that consistently performed time and time again. Sadly, REO became a casualty of business disputes. With three different industry titans involved in the making of this handmade, there were simply too many mouths to feed. Partnerships severed, and REO went the way of the dinosaurs. However, it was always the brain child of Eddie Ortega, and finally, he's brought this delicious premium back for all to enjoy.

At hand today is the rereleased REO, back and better than ever. An oily maduro wrapper is draped over Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers to create a tasty handmade that can be enjoyed any day (especially at these prices). Pair it up with a hot cup of coffee, or a cold glass of rum, and enjoy the slightly sweet, coffee and chocolate dominant profile. If anything is an indication of how great this rerelease is, it's how quickly the samples "disappeared" from our offices. And let's not forget the best news: You can enjoy these blends at CI for well below retail every day of the week.

REO has a smooth draw with a rich nutty aroma. The construction is smooth but firm. It’s one of my favorite morning cigars with my coffee. The price is great.

Has a decent taste but would prefer a 60 vs. 54 as the smoke time on the 54 is much shorter. Overall it’s a good value for what you get. I recommend

These maduros are quite good. The construction gives a nice draw with a pleasant aroma and a good flavor profile. I had the torpedo, which let's you adjust the draw to your own liking. I will definitely be keeping these around

The flavor is wonderful, full Maduro taste. I have no opinion on the ash other than to say the construction is somewhat hit or miss. Sometimes I can smoke it to the end with nothing but regular, circular ash. Then sometimes it will "canoe" i.e. burn down one side. But all said it is a great smoke at a reasonable price.

These are my every day go to. Love the maduro and the burn is pretty even. I’ve enjoyed these for several years and keep coming back. The Ortega’s seem to have been Working on this one because the roll is tighter, the wrapper is smoother and better looking and the burn is Much improved from a year or so ago. Good job!
