Sometimes due to diligence or luck you stumble upon a perfect pairing and ask yourself why no one had thought of this sooner…like the first time someone added Nutella to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. A similar experiment has resulted in the new line of cigars from Perdomo, 3 delicious blends that were aged in bourbon barrels.

Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maduro is dressed in a maduro wrapper that was aged at least 6 years before it was aged for an additional 14 months in bourbon barrels. Completing the blend are aged premium long-fillers from Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli Nicaragua. This cigar boasts a medium to full-bodied profile with hints of cocoa and coffee with flavors from the bourbon barrel settling in behind the scenes. I have to say that this stick is my new favorite. The taste is supreme and the burn is perfect an i can not say enough about this cigar. If its not rated in the mid 90s its a sin. A def must try!

Torpedo. My first time smoking Perdomo. I am a pipe smoker so cigars are still an unexplored art for me. However this cigar hit a lot of my checked boxes. Full body, good flavor, steady burn, barrel finish gave a little spice to hit on a retro hale. My only complaint was the wrapper started to unwind about mid smoke. But doesn’t bother me too much. Great cigar, going to buy again. Burn time about 1 hr 15 min (steady cadence).
