Partagas cigars began in Havana, Cuba in 1845. For years, their premium Cuban cigars were some of the bestsellers in the world. Great flavor, quick smoke (goal) and ordering was a breeze as usual. Not as smooth as other partagas but this had a purpose and it met it. The smoother partagas takes 25 minutes to smoke and I needed something that was faster. :)

While stored inside the original box with the lid slightly propped open aging inside the humidor this cigar ages extremely well becoming sweeter and sweeter as each week passes by; Strong tobacco flavor with all natural tobacco sweetness bonded with very thin accents that of fruitiness and cream; The famous Partagas tight rolling delivers smooth even draws and slow razor sharp burns throughout; Absolutely no pepper or bite throughout while the anticipated nub becomes a slice of Heaven; To me, Partagas is the true Rolls Royce of cigars; Absolutely delicious, consistent, well constructed, and always a pleasure to smoke!; Humidor: 65% @ 65F;

A friend of mine gave me one of these almost 30 years ago. I've had many super premiums including Cubans yet still rate this the highest. The Cameroon wrap is exquisite, color, texture, flavor and draw combined makes for a very pleasant smoke.

Buying in bulk can be difficult, but Cigars International makes it easy to purchase my favorite cigars by the box and they are in great condition every time. Partaga #2 is a fantastic smoke that I can enjoy after a full day of hard work. Its in the Goldielocks zone - not too big, but not too small making it my go to for an every day smoke.
