Padron 1926 Serie Maduro was originally released in 2001 to celebrate the 75th birthday of family patriarch Jose Padron, and created a legacy and a legendary line of cigars that still rakes in top marks nearly 20 years later. Padron has discovered the formula for creating true cigar masterpieces, and they pulled out all the stops for the 1926 Serie.

The blend is 100% Nicaraguan tobacco with a gritty, toothy maduro wrapper that begs to be savored. These are well made cigars and they burn well. I have been unable to obtain Cuban, my basic is a BolivarRoyal Corona, and I tried these. I think I find the Bolivar milder and more enjoyable. But life is a matter of taste.

these Padron’ s are a true pleasure. Weekend deck fire, Iron Fish Old Fashion, and this 1926. Stop the world for a bit and appreciate the moment. Damn, is that a pileated @ the feeder? Priceless.

Padron 1926, I don't care which 1926 it is, its my all time favorite cigar. In my opinion , it is the finest cigar in the world. it completely voids my principals as a value shopper so I only buy for very special occasions. I bought this box for the birth of our first child, a beautiful girl and shared the entire box with my best buddies, along with a bottle of fine Kentucky Bourbon. The box is now empty and the bottle gone. Everything is better when shared, therefore I have never smoked a Padron, alone.
