I really enoy this tobacco, and is one of the few that I actually reorder. So for content I give it 5 stars. I have always order the 50g tin, and this is a review of the 100g packaging. Rectangular flakes don't fit well in a round tin. They're just crammed in there and just break apart trying to get them out. If you like your flakes to come out of the tin neat, them you should stay away from the 100g round tin.
This is a good, simple, straightforward VA blend. A touch of sweetness, and no frills. It is quite mild to my tastes, but much stronger than most American "drug store" blends. For my money, both Orlik Golden Sliced and Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake are passably similar to, and far more affordable than, Dunhill Flake. If you're looking for a simple VA that is light and sweet but not cloying, and with the tiniest kiss of perique, this is a must try blend.
Good tobacco straight up, strong and flavorful. I find it easier to use a flake but most flake tobacco sells in 50g or 100g tins way too little for my habit. I need a bigger size container, a 100g lasts me 2 weeks. Not enough even though its like 12$ which is cheaper than most.
