One of the best smokes out there. After poking, there was lots of smoke and the flavor is, to me, the best of all the cigars that I smoke. The aroma that lingers after the exhale is extremely pleasant giving the room a nice afterthought.

My go to cigar when I want to chill out in my backyard. Good draw all the way through. Well put together so tunneling is not an issue.One of my favorite Maduro Cigar. I would put this cigar up against Cohiba Red Dot.

I smoked the original Serie V back in July 2007. I believe this Madurai version is better. Smoked the first cigar from my box of 10 on 8 Oct 2022. These are a beautiful rich earthy brown with almost imperceptible veins in the wrapper and a well made single cap. Firmly rolled and fully packed from head to toe. In fact cutting with my double cutter was harder than normal. Initial aroma was dark aged tobacco and cedar. Pre-light draw was cedar and espresso beans. Readily accepted my light with an imperfect but, self-correcting burn through most of the cigar. However with 1.5” left it flamed out for no perceptible reason but, a quick relight fixed the issue (my reason for 4 out 5 stars). A rich, balanced smoke with notes of espresso and vanilla beans with a hint of sweet cashew nougat. Full bodied & full flavored with a slight pepper spice on the nose throughout. Gives a 1.5” white and mottled light grey ash. I intend to age the remaining 9 another month or two before trying the next.

One of my favorites... Perfect construction and a taste bomb. Easy on the draw with copious amounts of medium-full bodied smoke. Always have these on hand... You will be pleasantly surprised if you have neve tried them.
