Is there anything AJ can’t do? 

Messing with an old-school brand like Montecristo takes some serious cojones (that’s the technical term, I believe). I mean, you don’t mess with success, right? And Montecristo is more than successful. Luckily for us, ever since the folks behind Montecristo let AJ start tweaking with the brand and crafting new blends, it’s been hit after hit, and this newest collaboration is another notch in the “Win” column. Welcome, Montecristo Nicaragua. 

The fifth addition to the ‘Core Line’ Montecristo, Nicaragua joins the ranks of White, Classic, Original, and Platinum. Big shoes to fill, no? Luckily, AJ does what he does best here, delivering a Nicaraguan powerhouse that’ll keep you coming back for more. 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos bring about a rich, flavorful profile, featuring plenty of classic Nicaraguan spice, backed by a characteristic sweetness that we can’t get enough of.

These cigars are well worth the price . Good draw. Not to open and not to tight. I get notes of Baking spice , old leather. What I mean by that is it’s not like walking into a leather shop. It’s like a well used baseball mit. Rich Earthy notes and some black coffee. Definitely get a five pack to start. However plan on getting a box. Simply because they are definitely worth it…

Love monte's so I tried a 5 pack of this nicaraguan blend. Burned well, but didn't catch my attention until 15 minutes in. Became really complex, with a medium profile. Loved it to the very end. Great draw A+.

If you like trying new cigars… try this one. As a fan of Montecristo, I was intrigued by this cigar. Normally I smoke a lighter version of this brand so I bought a five pack. While the cigar looked like an average cigar… the flavor profile was different than a Monte… Lighting was quick and the draw was easy… but as I smoked; the flavor profile was at first, okay. About 1/3 the way in the flavor profile changed and it was a smooth, sophisticated cigar. It easily lasted for an hour and got interesting about once again towards the finish. While it’s not in my top 10 cigars in my normal rotation; it was a solid flavorful cigar… and I did buy another five pack to stash away and give it some time in my humidor…can’t wait to try it again in a month or so to see if gets better.

Usually if it comes out of Nicaragua, i like it. Good solid smoke. The burn will need an occasional dress, but only minor. I'd buy these again!

Nothing beats a Montecristo! Always a favorite and this is no exception! Not usually a fan of Nicaraguan smokes but this is unbelievable and at a price that was just right for me. Great smoke!

Montecristo Nicaragua was rated a 93-point rating. It stated it has a dark, woody cigar that unfolds dense, hearty layers of chocolate-covered coffee bean and dried fruit with every puff. It did not disappoint. I’ve smoked MonteCrisco white series for a few years. This was a more robust cigar not as mild as the white series. I will definitely order it again. I would highly recommend it and gave it a 5-star rating which was well deserved.

It was a nice pre draw, on the lighting I noticed hints of Coco, and fruit the draw produced a fair amount of creamy some it wasn't much of pepper on the retro hale I didn't have to touch up but once it had a even burn I would suggest this lovely stick late morning early afternoon with black coffee.

Now , this is not your average Monti ! These bad boys will surprise you . I was expecting a medium body smoke . Not these :-) . Definitely would buy these again . ( actually, I have a few stashed along with my other favorites in my backup Humidor. Medium Full to Full body , with some complexity, at least for my palette.
