The Leaf goes dark

I don’t know if I’ve ever heard more calls for us to carry a brand than the droves of CI Nation demanding Leaf by Oscar. Originally starting in Pittsburgh, PA, the Leaf by Oscar has swept the nation, delivering their four boutique brands to cigar enthusiasts everywhere. And I’ll be honest, when they landed here we conducted a little scientific “taste-test” across the line, and they all fit easily under the “win” column. 

The fullest-bodied of the four offerings, this Maduro is a gorgeous specimen. And before you peek at our picture and wonder what the hell I’m talking about, remember that you’re supposed to remove that outer leaf before lighting up. Underneath, you’ll find a slick, dark cigar, glistening with oils. Each sample I scarfed down gave off a thick, honey-like sweetness, with notes of chocolate and black pepper in the mix. It’s a most satisfying combination, especially with a bourbon in the other hand, and I’d recommend you give it a shot today.

If you are looking for something different to smoke, I recommend trying the Leaf Maduro by Oscar Valladares. The cigars are wrapped in tobacco leaves to keep them moist. They give your humidor a tobacco scent. They burn evenly and leave a well formed white ash. The taste is rich and smooth, and the retro-hale is peppery. These have quickly become one of my favorites!

Very well put together. Notes of cocoa and floral activities that kept me in the game all the way until it almost burned my lips . A very smooth and delicious stick. I would most definitely purchase another 20 pack. 5 stars in my book!

My go to cigar that never let's me down. Plenty of flavor that is consistent all the way to the nub. Well constructed and burns evenly. Easy draw that produces plentiful smoke. I have no idea why it's not a top rated cigar, it certainly is in my opinion.

This cigar has a rich taste all the way through. The draw is perfect. It is also interesting that if you smoke it down to the label it has a sweet finish. The only cigar I know of that has this unique feature.
