Behold, La Aurora's finest creation to date

In 1495, Christopher Columbus sailed to the Dominican Republic, where he arrived to the fertile valley of Cibao - home of today's finest Dominican tobaccos - founding the city of Santiago de los Caballeros. La Aurora's 1495 Series honors the foundation of this city with a supremely-made, medium to full-bodied blend that could be the factory's greatest accomplishment to date. Combining a complex, but patiently aged, blend of Dominican Corojo and Dominican-seed ligero grown in Nicaragua, the 1495 is adorned with a stunning, marbleized Ecuadorian-grown wrapper leaf that's thick, toothy and loaded with pop. Chewy hints of leather and spice excite the taste buds without overpowering the palate, keeping the flavors smooth and balanced from first light to your very last puff.

La Aurora 1495 Series received a well-deserved 92-point rating, noting: "Dark and oily with a strikingly even burn. It starts out with a mineral sweetness, then progresses to a balance of spice, coffee bean, and wood."

Great box to buy. Smoke is good and the ash is very even. It is a longer smoke. Does well on a relight. When you not have time to smoke from start to finish.

They have the most consistent construction and even burn. My go to cigar. Might have 1 or 2 cigars per box that have construction problems compared to other more expensive cigars that have five or more.

This is fantastic! Had to order a second box. Smooth, even burn with a near perfect draw. First time getting into the La Aurora line up and it was a home run! If you’re on the fence about pulling the trigger on these, DO IT. You will not be disappointed.

Not a bad stick for the money. Well constructed and doesn't fall apart towards the foot. The burn is slow, lasting about an hour or so. I would prefer a Gordo size. I would buy them again to pass around to moochers.
