107 years, and counting!Crafted in celebration of the 107th Anniversary of La Aurora, this new medium to full-bodied handmade is impressive. Featuring a dark, oily Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper leaf and a dense long-filler blend from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, La Aurora 107 unleashes a rich and balanced profile that's layered with notes of cedar, spices, earth, and a slightly sweet finish. As it burns, it builds slightly in body and the flavors intensify before an impressively flavorful finale. Beautifully presented in Spanish cedar boxes of 21 cigars. Burn one of these, and you'll experience some of La Aurora's best.
In the last 2 years I have tried to smoke as many differnt high quality cigars as possible. Along the way I found certain cigars that have found a permanent place in my humidor. Having just received 30 different cigars in packs of 5, I just tried one of my selections which was the La Aurora 107. Since my 400 count humidor is full, I have one of two decisions that I need to make. Purchase another humidor, or wait until I have room for this heaven sent La Aurora 107. The 7 X 54 took me over an hour to smoke, while it continued to stay even all the way down. Due to the size I decided to use a punch rahter than a cut, which was the right decision. The full draw was so great, that only my blowing fans could move the thick clouds of smoke surounding me. Notes of cedar, leather, and earth was spot on, and the finish remained in the same manner on each puff. This has to be one of the best constructed cigars I have ever tried, including Cubans. I would be shocked if you didn't enjoy the La Aurora 107, and find yourself in the same situation I'm in. How can I purchase a box of these with no room to keep them in. How can I not get a box of these with the knowledge of how great they are? This is a dilema I don't mind being in.
Smoked the Toro today and loved it! Wish I had a few boxes. The aroma is a slightly sweet blend of cedar, earth or leather and a hint of chocolate. Very deluxe! And extremely manly, I might add. The air was very still today, so I really go to enjoy this fabulous smoke to the max! The burn needed 4 or 5 touch-ups with the torch, but by the time it was a nub, the burn evened out. This tobacco blend is heavenly. I am eager to try other sizes. If you pine for Preferidos but are too penurious, purchase a pleasurable 107!!
Wow!Like everyone else said!Just got a 10-pack of robustos and had to try one right away. This is best of the best here(La Aurora107),has that"specialness" that you find in the 1495 and preferidos but with it's own unique depth of rich flavor, aroma, and complexity.Very highly, worthwhile cigar,a joy to smoke!Kudos Sr.Leon,C.I.Nation!
closest to cuban if not better, keep em coming guillermo!
This is one of those cigars where you go; "damn man" this is awsome!
I have been smoking at least three handmade premium cigars a day, for over 5-years...This is the most consistent cigar I have ever smoked. I have been through about four boxes of the 107 Rothschild and not one has let me down, the construction, taste, burn and draw are perfect everytime.. This is a fantastic blend, I have at least one every day.... Try it, you will not go wrong..
Best cigar I have ever had you will not be disappointed.
