Give this cigar a fair trial.

In the 1920’s J.C. Newman’s top-selling cigar was a little brand known as “Judge Wright.” Back then, the line had a simple slogan, “A fair trial will give a verdict in favor of this cigar.” Now, I’ve got to be honest. My experience with any sort of court is limited to Judge Judy and Law and Order reruns. However, if I were a judge, I’d throw anyone who didn’t like this cigar out, as they must be insane.

This cigar is a straight up value, and I’d recommend getting in early and often. Judge Wright is a Nicaraguan puro with a Sun Grown wrapper, but unlike some similar blends, this one stays smooth and medium-bodied throughout. The ‘Cuban sandwich’ blend has great flavors of earth, leather, and slight spice. There’s nothing else I can say here, Judge Wright is a great everyday cigar. Case dismissed.

Judge Wright is a great inexpensive cigar that is consistently reliable. They burn evenly with a good ash build that doesn’t leave you wearing the ash…needs very little maintenance to keep it lit

Better than some other budget cigars I’ve smoked. My 4 star rating is based on a comparison of other budget cigars. Certainly these wouldn’t hold up against a highly rated long filler cigar. These are Cuban sandwich. I bought 2 bundles of 20 of budget long filler cigars & a box of these at the same time. Shockingly, these have been the best of the bunch. I’ve had canoeing issues and draw problems with the others. But these have burned reasonably well, been easy to draw, & haven’t gotten harsh or burned hot. I’ve also had few issues with getting pieces of tobacco in my mouth.

Not a bad every day smoke. Has a good burn and flavor. Only thing I don’t like is they aren’t wrapped tight and you’ll get some filler in your mouth as you smoke it.

Nice quality. It was a good, mild smoke. Held its ash for quite a while. I smoked one the day they came. It was a little dried out, but not bad. I'm looking forward to letting them sit in the humidor for a few weeks before I try another one.

Looking for a go to cigar to fill your day? Judge Wright fills the spot with a cigar to have completing the days tasks. Holds flavor and good for a 30 minute smoke. Great cigar for completing the outdoor projects. Value and price both meet.

When on SALE a good deal, the cigar has a mild flavor easy draw . The majority had an even burn, however a lot of bits and pieces on every puff. A good washing your car or mowing the lawn every day stick

Good everyday cigar. Burns well and has a good flavor. I’ve smoked half the box and when i would get to the last inch to inch and a half a few would get very bitter. This is the only negative issue.

Good construction, with a smooth draw and even burn. Cap stays on after the punch, and the wrapper remains tight. White ash. Characteristics of a much more expensive cigar. Medium to full strength after some humidor time. Perfect cigar for mowing a one acre lawn, walking the dog, or playing nine holes at the executive course.
