The sweetest host in town! 

You might remember a timeless brand that was based out of Manhattan in the heart of the New York Metropolitan Area called Nat Sherman. Well, long-story short, the iconic American brand was briefly discontinued but never forgotten. Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott, both former executives from Nat Sherman, decided to revive the Timeless and Metropolitan brands that were the very core of Nat Sherman’s premium cigar lineup. Each blend is very much the same as we last knew them but are now under the name of Ferio Tego, which is the family motto of Herklots.

Produced in Davidoff’s Honduran factory, Diadema Cigars de Honduras S.A., it’s no shock that these handmades are top notch in construction. The Metropolitan Host blend is comprised of Honduran leaves for the binder and fillers. To balance this smooth and mellow premium cigar, Ferio Tego has chosen a Connecticut wrapper. Finally, my favorite part, this cigar’s cap is sweetened. Which adds a unique experience that pairs extremely well with the Connecticut and Honduran tobaccos. Now’s the time to grab a box to celebrate the triumph return of this blend!

I used to live in NYC and this smoke was an all time favorite of mine at Nat Sherman. The host seems to be the perfect gauge when it comes to a lunch time smoke. I prefer the CT wrapper over the maduro, but they're both fantastic. Couldn't be happier that Ferio Tego is continuing the tradition

These are very nice cigars and the sweet tip is a nice touch that compliments the flavor of the smoke quite well. I thoroughly enjoy smoking these in the 50 and 60 ring size. This cigar covers the spectrum when I’m looking for smooth and tasty cigar with a touch of sweetness. Like the title indicates, I keep a stash of these in the humidor. Happy smoking!

Excellent smoke! Wanted to see how these truly compared to the old Nat Sherman and I was not disappointed. The draw was as expected and the cigar burned evenly. Flavor was consistent almost to the band. The slight sweetness in the cap lasted to about the halfway mark. Was definitely pleased with this purchase.
