Hailing from Steve Saka’s Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust company is Umbagog, a superb everyday cigar. This bargain for your buck premium derived from the Mi Querida cigar. Mi Querida, described by Saka as “an expression of the greatest value possible for the hardcore cigar enthusiast”, is rolled in a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that was not up to par for this prestigious cigar.

What was judged as "too ugly" for one cigar brought about this robust and reliable addition to Saka’s portfolio. Great cigar! The whispers out there suggest that these are "Mi Querida" seconds. Don't know if that's true but the famous Dunbarton quality is there...so it would not surprise me.

Decent stick but what good is it if the draw is terrible! Last few batches have been awful. The draw is a huge part of the stick. Much better alternatives.

Inflation is hitting everyone at the pump, pantry and some of us with humidors. That being said Umbagog taste like a 23 year old quality bourbon on a bottle in bond budget! Complex flavors and lots of creamy smoke makes it one of my favorites.

My favorite at this price and tastes like a more expensive stick! Smooth draw, even burn, rich bold with a little spice in the first 1/3, 2nd 1/3 smooths out but very full bodied flavor, last 1/3 a little more spicy and delicious to the end!

Steve Saka has done it again he is the master of the masters. The Umbagog is such a great smoke just like all of me Saka’s cigars it is a must try and the price point is right on. Thank you Steve for another fantastic cigar.
