Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9

A few weeks ago I found I was very low on the Liga Privada #9. I purchase from several online sites looking for my favorite cigars to keep my humidor stocked. As usual, my 1st stop is always Cigars International and I wasn't disappointed! They not only had my in stock, but at a great price as well! CI delivered my order quickly and you can tell that the cigars were well cared for from the factory to my humidor! CI is not only a great site but their FaceBook page is full of folks that share the joy of cigar smoking, but it's also a great place for sharing info, tips and tricks for the new folks to the more experienced folks as well. Amazing full body cigar lots of flavors my second box the first box I aged it in my humidor for 2 years now the flowers are even better, not your beginners smokers.

This another of my favorites. Has a good draw, nice smoke, good flavor, and well constructed. It definitely one I want to keep in my humidor as often as possible.

Liga No.9 is what you expect it to be, i am love this cigar. The construction of this cigar allow it to burn evenly, with a flawless draw tasting the array of flavors from start to finish.

Awesome ciger

The construction is beautiful, with a dark and rich wrapper. The draw and burn was near perfect. The flavor is rich with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, an earthy core and a nice sweetness. One of my top 5!

This is one of my favorite sticks.. always draws well with even burn..and just the right amount of spice.. delicious.

CI hasn't had these for a while. I jumped on a box right away and I'm glad I did. Moderate to strong, well constructed, burns evenly.

A great smoke. Taste holds steady from start to finish, with a medium body and even burn. Well-constructed with a perfect draw. First time purchase, but I'll be buying more as they become available.

Expertly rolled with never a flaw in the craftsmanship. Color, a dark oily wrapper that embodies a bold, full flavor smoke. A cigar for special occasions that will only add to the great memories of that moment.

I sure hope people who poo-poo all Drew Estate products will continue to assume this cigar must be overrated because, hey, a company who makes girly-man infused smokes (not true; some of them are med to full bodied) can't make good non-infused ones. It's like a law! The longer they think that, the more Liga Privada for those of us who know better! While not as overt as the pipe tobacco in Drew Estate's MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured (which I LOVE; it's almost like a stick of pipe tobacco), Liga 9 has that perique FLAVOR in the background, whether it has any real perique in it or not. Rich, sweet chocolately, espresso-y, nougat-y, nutty and peppery, but it's a rich smoothness, not harsh in the way many full-bodied smokes are. Not a Cain F Gordo for lumberjacks, but plenty of Vitamin N, so not a newbie smoke, or one for experienced folks, either, on a completely empty stomach. Thick, oily wrapper with a bit of tooth, but not a ton. Construction, ash, burn, and draw are nigh-on perfect, and while some might whine it doesn't have umpteen flavor transitions, what it does is maintain constant, high-level deliciousness. Heaven on earth type experience!

The Leaf by Oscar is one of my favorites. The Coronets are great when you don't have a lot of time but your gonna be outside.

My number 1 back porch cigar.
