20 Acres is the place to be!

Anybody who enjoys cigars knows the name Drew Estate. Know more for their infused lines, Drew Estate has also had traditional masterpieces like Undercrown and the Florida Sun Grown line.  Keeping on that path, their new line of premium cigars also features Florida-grown tobacco from Jeff Borysiewicz’s 20-acre farm in the Sunshine State. 

 Drew Estate’s master blender Willy Herrera constructed the 20 Acre Farm blend starting with a golden Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. Underneath that sits a Sun Grown Honduran Habano binder over Nicaraguan long-fillers from Estelí and Jalapa, and of course the previously mentioned Florida tobacco. The result is a unique medium-bodied profile with notes of oak, cedar, white pepper, and hints of citrus on the palate. A very good Connecticut but with a spicy Florida Sungrown flair. Typical creamy light coffee flavors with cedar and great creamy smoke throughout. Also, a nice bready/toast note as well. But, the Florida sungrown tobacco in the filler added a beautiful zest, that wasn’t overpowering, with black pepper most notably on the retro. Construction and burn were flawless.

This cigar is a great blend. The combination of Connecticut Shade wrapper and Nicaraguan and Florida Sun Grown tobaccos is some nice smoking. Burns great with fine taste. A little white pepper coming through adds a little zing to the overall experience. Highly recommend.

Was really hyped up for this release. Just not in my wheelhouse. Nice brown sugar finish with impeccable burn and construction. Just doesn’t pack that punch that I like. A must for mild connecticut lovers.
