Daniel Marshall Red Label is a Nicaraguan super-premium that lives up to the hype. Dressed in a 5-year-old Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Red Label also features a Nicaraguan binder and a bold blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers from Jalapa and Esteli. The earthy core is punctuated by notes of sweetness, and offers up hints of espresso and cocoa. Balanced, smooth, and well-aged, this handmade checks all the boxes, crosses all the T’s, and dots all the I’s.
The Daniel Marshall Red Label received a 92-point rating by Cigar Aficionado, noting: "Crafted with symmetric shoulders, this Churchill burns evenly, delivering a smoke that is rich and woody with a solid core of earth and a touch of semisweet chocolate."
I have now smoked all 20 of my Daniel Marshall Red Label Robustos over the course of several months. What really stood out for me was the excellent quality of construction. Each and every one burned evenly throughout and had a perfect draw. I tasted cocoa, coffee and cinnamon and would describe them as rich, creamy and smooth with no bite, all the way to the end. These are great cigars for the price and I will be ordering some more.
I got these on the recommendation of a friend. I was going for a "Guys Weekend" with some friends and we all wanted some cigars. I'm a beginner cigar smoker and they're huge cigar aficionados. I was pleasantly surprised when we started smoking these that everyone (with different palates and different cigar preferences) very much enjoyed these. I thought they were nice and smooth. My friends complimented the flavors and the consistency throughout. Overall a great cigar! One of the best I've had. I will definitely be ordering more.
