Cain F Nub by Oliva

Description

Cain and Nub come full circle.

First, there was Nub - a revolutionary cigar that captured the true essence of the tobacco at play. Then, there was Cain - a full-bodied, full-throttle blend crafted to redefine the full-flavored Nicaragua. Next came Cain 'F' - an even fuller-bodied variety of Cain. Now, the journey is complete as Nub meets Cain 'F'.

Cain 'F' Nub....it was only a matter of time. To craft these full-bodied firecrackers, a select recipe of bold Nicaraguan long-leaf ligeros is carefully blended, then cloaked by a thick and oily Habano ligero wrapper leaf. Each cigar is crafted into short and stout, 60+ ring frames - in true Nub form - to capture the core flavors these robust tobaccos dish out throughout the entire burn. The end result: layers of flavor with every puff delivered in smooth, balanced fashion. A rich series of leather and hearty spices smack the palate from start to finish, giving room - from time to time - for an intriguing toasty sweetness. Complex, satisfying, and eventful....Cain 'F' Nub is a fine achievement from the Oliva factory.

Cain F Nub by Oliva received a well-deserved 90-rating noting: "Packed with tobacco, this short, fat cigar imparts a dense smoke that is strong and hearty with earth, coffee bean and leather notes. The finish hints of dried cherry."

Nice strong smoke that doesn’t burn too fast, goes well with a smooth bourbon, and an after breakfast relaxing smoke! They come in a slide open box, and wrapped in plastic.

A firecracker when you light it, then bold, flavorful, and smooth to the end. Great with a nice Scotch or Bourbon!

A friend suggested the Nub line shortly after they came out. I prefer full body, robust cigars and these are perfect!

For me, it's inconsistent from stick to stick. Got a few in a deal. Liked the first one quite a bit, second was tedious and left me wanting something else right after to get it out of my mind. Some good doughy, nutty flavors after an inch but, just reverted to tobacco ala a cigarette after a few draws. Have a few more I'll smoke eventually. Defo wouldnt buy them alone but, that Nuberlode keeps calling my name.

I smoke Cain F regularly - I keep buying the Nub sampler pa ks that in clude them. One of my favorite Nubs. Beautiful wrapper leaf and great constructuion - someone else described the appearance as "seamless" and that is spot on. This is a,bold smoke but not a strong one - it is smooth throughout the smoke - rich flavors but not at all harsh or overwhelming. This is a consistently satisfying cigar.

Smoked the whole thing with ash fully intact. Not much effort either. If that’s not another example of Oliva’s consistency, what else do you need? Also, it’ll knock your socks off.

Huge fan of the nub line, and have always like a complex full bodied cigar. If you like full bodied ligero with rich complex notes packed in a nub sized package you won't be disappointed.

These stogies are a little stronger than I expected. I have smoked a few by now though and am enjoying each one more than the last. This comes as no big surprise to me because I've smokes several Nubs and never had a bad one.

Cain F Nub is probably, well it is my go to cigar. I just really enjoy the spicy edge, the aroma, the burn, ash, smoke. You name it this cigar is on it. I still haven't found any cigars I enjoy more than Nub. I've never had a bad Cain F Nub.

I like my cigars like I like my women...short and fat! Seriously, this is an excellent smoke, with a nice and even burn, smooth draw and great flavor profile. Lots of pepper right at the start, then it smooths out into a very enjoyable mix of earth and toasty flavors mixed with spices. Very good...took it right down to "nub" and it never got hot.

Wow!Earthy,spicy,creamy-did I mention earthy?!The prelight smells just like rich soil and the post-light is just as product description and fellow reviewer indicate.Great work Mr.Leccia,as always,"high five",CI!.

Well, this is the first review that I have posted. I have to tell you that all of the hype for this little gem is correct. Starting with the appearance out of the wrapper. The Habano wrapper is beautiful and oily, virtually seemless. The burn was straight and true with no relights or fixing required. After about 30 seconds, my lips were tingling and the bold tobacco flavors hit the palate. At about the 1/3 mark, the cigar became remarkably smooth with some toasty notes and a sweet lingering aftertaste. It finished off with a bang and was never anything but superb. Furthermore, I am a somewhat aggressive smoker and don't like to leave my stogies burning on the ashtray very long and it never got hot until it reached my fingers (only real heat was on the fingers!). As a disclaimer, this cigar is not for the beginner, and should probably best be served after a hearty meal. I will buy plenty more of these to have as a staple in my humidor. My personal rating 92-93
