I get these regularly in the Ave Maria Morningstar sampler. The filler may be bold but the broadleaf maduro wrapper mellows the smoke into a pleasant flavor profile that's hard to beat. Like all the Morningstar vitolas, it's a well-made, attractive cigar, with an even burn and easy draw.

Decent. Lots of thick, heavy, peppery smoke. Not as aggressive as a Man O War, but not for delicate palates. Nicotine aplenty. Fairly quick burn with good ash. Bulb end will probably need an early touch-up.

Bought these on sale. Great smoke..I like a this type of stick. Could taste the coffee/chocolate flavors. The review said a hint of cedar. Just what in the world does cedar taste like, and how does one acquire this knowledge? Easting cedar? None the less, put this one open the recommend list. A great relaxing stick.

I Smoke these often and they have a uniform and construction profile. The smoke off this cigar is tinged blue… burn nice and even. Robusto size lasts about an 1 1/2 hours… and I puff a lot. ????

Ran into these exquisite cigars accidentally as I looked for ideas for a friend of mine to put into an auction to raise money for an all Latin Catholic church event… The box is regal , has a beautiful prayer written in Latin on the outside and the cigars on the inside are A maduro sight to behold. The draw on this cigar was perfection, and the flavors that came through were exactly what you would want out of a visually stunning cigar like this… And as usual, the cigars were delivered, even a day earlier than promised… Fantastic choice of a cigar and superior execution on all levels… Highly recommend! PS, the Ave Maria cutter that came with it simply completed the experience… very complementary!

I'm tempted to not say anything nice about this cigar or any of the others from the entire Ave Maria line because I don't want you to want them. I want them all for me. The morning star perfecto is one of my all time favorite viotola. Aroma, blend, quality all there.

The review for cigars international is 5 star. Great deal, saved me $$ and fast azz shippin..shipping... as for the cigar makers... the 1st one was tight. Even when I smoked it upon arrival at 70% humidity the stick was so tight that I couldn't draw no matter what. I guess ya get one from time to time... my 1st cigar where it was that tight. Bravo for gettin all that tobacco in there without tearing wrapper...wow
