Ashton VSG is an extremely well-made gem from the Dominican Republic that represents one of the cigar world’s most prized non-Cuban cigars. The tobaccos used are exquisite, making each cigar within the line a homerun from start to finish. Taken from the tobacco plant’s highest primings, the Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper offers a rich, reddish hue and spicy, chewy flavor. The 4-5 year old Dominican long-fillers are masterfully blended to promote a smooth, but eventful flavor that’s hearty and robust. Together, these tobaccos combine to satisfy even the most achieved palates.

Yes, noticeably smokey, flavors are not intense which is good. The cigars tend to lose their 'taste' when 2/3 gone. But this is not unusual to me. One of them was quite good all the way to the nub, The shorties were the best of the lot. I would order it again if I wanted some Ashtons.

5 Star need I say more. O.K. a little bit more, smooth flavor, great draw, excellent finish. I have not had a bad cigar since I started smoking them. Try them and see what I mean.

One of my favorite cigars. My cousin introduced me to this brand a couple of years ago and they never disappoint. Great draw, well balanced. I always keep at least a few on hand now. FYI ESG is even better.

A friend of mine introduced me to this brand last summer. It is a very smooth smoke with great taste right to the nub. The stick makes a lot of smoke with an easy draw. Never gets hot all the way to the end. This is a milder strength than I usually smoke but very enjoyable nonetheless.
