Ashton Savoy Classic Humidors

The Ashton Classic Savoy humidor in Bubinga has performed excellently for me. It beautifully constructed and I have not noticed any imperfections. I used the Boveda method of seasoning by placing four 84% 60 gram packets inside the empty humidor for two weeks. I initially used four 60 gram72% packets once seasoning was complete. This consistently held humidity between 70.5 and 72%. This was a bit high for me so I switched to the same number of 69% packets. It now rests between 67.5 and 69% humidity. The room temperature fluctuates between 68 and 72 degrees. If I had to pick any shortcomings for this humidor,it would be that it lacks a magnetic lid. I will be using the wood sleeves to mount the Boveda packs to the lid and will now have to glue magnets to it. It is a small gripe, but I would really appreciate not having to do so. Ci states this humidor holds 100 cigars. I mostly smoke toros and robustos and find it is rather full with 80 cigars. This reduced count seems to be about normal across most brands of humidors. All in all I am very satisfied and have considered purchasing a smaller model of the Savoy for desktop use.

This Humidor seals very well. Worth the money. I would definitely recommend.

Love my humidor haven’t used it yet cause the hygrometer doesn’t work it was in pieces and is stuck on 60 won’t go up or down so don’t want my cigars in there till it’s working, still waiting to hear from customer service

Humidity gauge keeps falling off. Other than that, very nice humidor.

I bought the 100 stick humidor and it can only fit 50 sticks max. Definitely a bummer. Feel like it’s false advertisement. Other than that, everything about the box is great. Holds humidity perfectly with 2- 60gram 69% boveda packs.

I had a 25 cigar, glass top humidor and needed more space. This Ashton is gorgeous, and has the space I need. I love the glass-like finish!

Nice quality humidor at a good price. Not sure I totally trust the analog hygrometer, but once dialed in and properly seasoned you can get a sense for what the hygrometer should read for ideal humidity. I am happy with this selection, how it arrived via shipping, and the quality of the finish, sturdiness, and size.

Beautiful finish on this box, wonderful packaging. Nice humidifier too. A little trouble with the sticky back coming off of the hygrometer but I took care of that with a dab of 3M adhesive
