Went out on a limb and bought a box of Don Carlos’ without ever trying them. WOW, am I glad I did! Medium smoke with nutty flavors. Burn and draw have been perfect on the 3 I have smoked. Comes with humipak pack in the box. I’ll never be without these in my humidor.

Construction is excellent with a slow, even burn from start to finish. It starts with a deceptively smooth-medium strength with hints of vanilla and coffee with cream, and then the slightest impression of milk chocolate and dried cherry, that ever so gently gains iin strength as the initial flavors transform to more of a black coffee (not expresso, more like a decent Columbian bean) and dark chocolate. All that from a little corona. It's paired well with coffee, black tea, and decent blended or single malt whiskey.

This an amazing cigar. I've smoked several over the last few years and each time I try to find a cigar to compare it with and can't. The blend is unique and the construction is flawless. This one starts out tasting like a good Spumante and ends up like expensive cognac. The intensity stays the same throughout and you want more at the end. There are many more expensive cigars that don't deliver the wide array of leveled flavors that this selection delivers. Hands down the best medium bodied cigar I've smoked in it's price range. Well deserving of all of the 90+ ratings it has received over the years. 7 stars!!!
