I've only recently taken up cigar smoking so I don't know all the fancy lingo, but after trying quite a few samplers, I can say that the Medalist is a great smoke. It has a smooth, mellow flavor and the stick burns great. The cigars were shipped fast and were in good condition. This was a good buy for me and recommend them for beginner smokers.

Not a bad stick. Early flavor of leather followed by hints of straw and green tea. Burned a little unevenly dampening the experience. A much better Connecticut is the Griffin's.
