All I got to say is: SMOOTH!

The taste of of cigars is wonderful as expected. The cigars of all brands that I have in the last two orders have been very dry. The business end on some split and have to be discarded or temporarily resealed with honey. I have a new, well seasoned humidor that I maintain at 70% humidity.

Hoyos are great. Vegas Golds not so much. Burn is very uneven.

Two excellent brands ! Cigars are consistantly well made, with smooth even burn, wonderful draw and great flavor. 5 Vegas start out spicy and then mellow, booming out big clouds of smoke without being harsh. Hoyo is smooth and mellow start to finish.

Both choices are good smokes. Good construction, easy draw, fairly even burn. Moderate strength. Either is a good choice for those that prefer medium bodied cigars.

Great combo package, though I think the Hoyo Excalibur are a few notches above the 5 Vegas. But both worth the cost.

Excalibur’s are excellent cigars and the Vegas gold are good. They are both mild and I enjoy them.

The Vegas are a fantastic mild smoke while the Hoyos are a bit stronger. Both delicious and a great end to my day.

Great sampler . Only complaint is the caps on the Hoyo Excalibur were very fragile and came apart while smoking.
