Xikar Turrim Lighter

Nice looking lighter, does fit in a travel humidor. Fingers get a little toasty when lighting cigars. Lasted about a year due to my dog knocking it off of a table. When it fell it hit concrete and the bottom just broke off. Honestly would not buy another one unless you just needed a lighter to relight whe. Your cigar goes partially out. Itd be good for that.

I bought two of these. Both work perfectly. These are very similar to the double-jet Turrims but much smaller. The "wrinkle black" finish is really nice and I'd recommend it over all the other finishes. It's hard to describe but it's a textured finish that helps with grip. Not textured like sandpaper, just subtly textured, and the base (flame height adjuster) and the lid on top are not textured, just smooth black, while the whole main body is, which creates a very nice two-toned "sandwich" effect visually. Reliability is 100%, the elongated tank holds a lot of butane, and the fuel level indicator if awesome. If you haven't seen this type yet, it uses a refractive trick to make the butane liquid look deep red, while the air remains clear, so you see dark red on white, making it VERY easy to tell how much fuel remains. The lid obviously covers the burner and protects it whenever it's not actually burning, and the whole base being the flame adjuster makes jet height adjustments trivially easy, even during the burn. Don't forget the legendary Xikar lifetime warranty that covers everything except loss/theft, FOREVER! Highly recommended. Do it!
