Xikar HP3 Triple Lighter

Built very solid and perfect flames.

This lighter is a beast. It has a quality feel with some heft to it. The triple flame has a great shape and will definitely ‘reach out there’. It’s a BIG flame. The only disappointment is the flame adjustment. It’s either all or nothing. Try to make the flame smaller and it will sputter and go out. Overall I believe it will light anything you want to burn. Starting your wood stove will be no problem however, I do think it’s overkill for anything but the largest cigar and lighting that is going to happen in a hurry!

i is a little heavy and bulky. the work .men ship is great. LOVE HOW EAST IT IS TO CHECK FUID LEVELS ON THE LIGHTER.

Great lighter! Very heavy in your hand ... and pocket. Probably best for a table or brief case / messenger bag.

Great lighter. The flame pattern is identical to the Xikar Trezo (and what a highly-effective flame pattern it is, my favorite!), but the gas tank seems to be much larger with dual EZ-View fuel windows so you can easily tell where you stand on fuel, the body is more ergonomic and feels and works better in the hand and the paint job (Daytona red) is striking, looking like a sports car finish (same as the "wow!" finish on the red version of Xikar's VX2 V-cut). The sides are a hard rubber that helps with grip. Accents (lid, bottom and wheel, pull-down trigger) are a gorgeous gunmetal. Lifetime warranty too, unlike other high-end lighters you'll eventually have to throw in the trash. One competitor only offers a 2-year warranty with a big list of lots of things that aren't covered, another offers a so-called "lifetime" warranty that ends when your specific model goes out of production, which will probably end up being a few years maximum. Please, don't make me laugh. Xikar's warranty is forever, even after your model goes out of production (they'll just give you equivalent newer models as needed) and there are no limits on what's covered. Xikar has a REAL lifetime warranty! There's no reason to buy anything else.
