Foundation The Tabernacle Knight Commander

Description

A Cigar Fit For A Knight

If you're a cigar nut, chances are you've at least heard of Foundation Cigars. Countless blends being awarded 90+ ratings and a massive following behind them, they're a firm player in the premium cigar industry. But, behind the doors is a man named Nick Melillo who is not only a master-blender, but a knight. Yes, you read that correctly, a knight! The title of Knight Commander of The Ethiopian Star of Honor was bestowed upon Nicholas Melillo by the prestigious Honor the Ethiopian Crown Council. To celebrate this achievement, he released a new cigar, The Tabernacle Knight Commander.

The purpose of this cigar is to pay homage to the rich Ethiopian heritage and philanthropy. Foundation has pledged 100% of the proceeds to Ethiopian charities in the form of scholarships, rebuilding churches, and more. This 6.7" x 52 perfecto keeps true to its roots by following the same blend as The Tabernacle with a dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper layered over a Mexican San Andres binder. Tucked inside are premium long-fillers from Estelí and Jalapa Valley that give way to hefty notes of leather and black pepper. To set this limited release apart, The Tabernacle Knight Commander has been aged an additional 15 months in cedar to enhance the profile. With only a couple hundred boxes being produced each year, now's your chance to join the knighthood with The Tabernacle Knight Commander!
