Xikar Tech Double Lighter

This is the Goldilocks folks! The dual jet flame has a great shape and is highly adjustable. It lights every time. The lighter is lightweight with a great fuel capacity. It feels good in the hand and is easy to manipulate. Whether you prefer gently toasting your favorite cigar or go all in and get ‘er lit, this lighter will make it happen with ease. It is my personal favorite!

Dependable lights every time

Not the best looking lighter from Xikar, but it works great. I love the see through reservoir.

Best lighter so far. Love the clear cylinder propane container, easy to see the remaining fuel level. The ignition is a positive click of the finger on the ignition cover, and lights up every time. I've had single, quad, and triple flame lighters. This double is perfect.

My new favorite lighter, and I have dozens of different lighters including many other Xikar models. This baby beats them all. Forget about wondering how much fuel you have left and worrying about low fuel capacity, the HUGE and crystal-clear fuel tank's status is instantly and completely obvious at a glance! Unlike single jets that take too long to light big cigars, the side-by-side twin jets are enough power to light any size cigar pretty quickly, however unlike triple and quad torches, you don't have to worry about accidentally scorching and blackening the wrapper leaf on the sides of your cigar down near the foot because the two jets are more controllable and precise and don't create an excessive amount of heat like triple and quad jets do. Also for touchups, you can just turn these two jets sideways so they're in a single, straight, narrow line, while you turn your cigar past them to even out its burn line. You can't do that with a triple or quad torch because you can't get all the jets in a single line like you can with a double. Even the triples/quads that are pointed inward to a common focus point still generate too much heat to make touchups accurate and localized enough to avoid scorching too much surrounding wrapper leaf. Double jets are best all around, and this double jet lighter is reliable and built like a tank. Don't think it's like those lookalike cheap models, it's built to a far higher standard. It just LOOKS and FEELS like quality in your hand, and that big, beefy, fully-transparent tank is my favorite feature. Lifetime warranty too; if you don't lose it, you'll have it (or one of its free replacements) FOREVER! Stop squinting at tiny fuel windows, or having none at all! Stop running out of fuel because of tiny tanks! Buy this, you won't regret it!

What I look for in a cigar lighter, first and foremost, is the ability to light my cigar as quickly as possible, using as little fuel as I can. The dual flame of this lighter is excellent at that, and does not use so much fuel that I need to refill it every few days. The extra large storage holds enough fuel to last weeks before refill, and I purchased the clear tank so I can always see how much remains. The flame regulator is easily accessible, yet tight enough to not accidentally open the fuel governor and burn my eyelashes off when I take it out of my pocket. When my cigar has died out and I want to relight it, I use the cap of the lighter to scrape the charcoaled end out like a scoop. This lighter is a joy to use and works perfectly every time I light it. I use only Xicar fuel and it has never failed me. I now have two Xicar lighters and highly recommend this brand.

Great lighter, when it works! Have had 2 sent in for warranty,Xikar replaced with a new one both times. Xikar customer service is top notch.The problem is the shipping costs. Use a stamp if yours breaks. Next time I will.
